Justin Emmerich

Justin Emmerich's career is distinguished by a dedication to public service and a record of accomplishments in legislative administration, policy analysis, and campaign management. He began his venture in politics and public service, serving on the campaign of then State House Representative Peggy Flanagan and interning for State Senator Tom Saxhaug. His seven-year tenure on the Minnesota Senate staff saw him play a crucial role in passing significant legislation, including the 100% Clean Energy by 2040 and Energy Permitting Reform. As a Committee Administrator and Legislative Assistant, he honed his strategic negotiation and collaboration skills, working effectively across the political spectrum to achieve policy and budget goals.

Justin's expertise extends to campaign finance and crisis communication, evidenced by his success as a campaign manager and candidate for the State Senate. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in political science in 2016, with a focus on research, analytics, and economics.

 Justin lives in Apple Valley with his wife, Kate, and three children. He is involved in a number of community organizations, including the District 196 Foundation, his local HOA board, and coach for local youth sports teams.
