Samuel Krueger began his political work on various state level campaigns across Minnesota during the 2016 election, and made his way to the congressional campaign of Stewart Mills. While serving as an intern in the Minnesota House of Representatives, Krueger was exposed to the world of lobbying. He sharpened his skills in government relations while serving in various capacities at the legal and lobbying firm Flaherty and Hood, P.A. In this role, he worked with lobbyists on local government and environmental issues, drafted legislation, and built relationships with lawmakers and administrators across all levels of government.

Krueger has gained a wide range of experience in and around the legislative process. His expertise now encompass issues surrounding local government, utilities, infrastructure, bonding, natural resources, cinema, taxes and agriculture. While young, he has proven himself as an effective advocate in St. Paul while independently representing the largest rural water system in the state.

Krueger is the newest Associate with Hill Capitol Strategies. A 2018 graduate of Bethel University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is an organizer and a self-starter who participated in, and led many student organizations during his time at Bethelincluding the student run newspaper.

Before graduating, Krueger spent time as a public affairs student with the Witherspoon Institute, a policy think tank in Princeton, New Jersey.

Krueger lives in Roseville, and when he is not at the capitol, he can be found outdoors or working on classic cars.
